1914 - The Great War is a round-based strategy game for PC. The player takes on the role of an officer of World War I. In two detailed campaigns (either Allies or Germans) with 30 versatile missions in total you will have to fight on different front lines in Western Europe. The realistically presented landscape and the more than 60 units from four different nations (Germany, France, Great Britain and the USA) are completely modelled in 3D, copied faithfully and animated with much emphasis on details. The style of the game is orientated towards the era; nostalgically designed menus and lavish particle effects generate an authentic game atmosphere. Apart from numerous special functions (e.g. repairing, munitioning, putting up or removing barricades ...), players can improve their units to elite forces during the campaigns. Another great feature is the multiplayer mode: Here up to four players can prove their strategic skills.
